28. #봉사활동

 

아무런 #기대나 #보상을 바라지 않고 가끔 #일주도로를 따라 #산책할 때 버려진 #비닐, #마스크, #휴지 등이 여간 거슬리는 것이 아니었다. 너무나 많은 #구역별 #청소 #담당자들이 있었기에 다음번에는 깨끗하게 치워져 있을 줄 알았으나… #나무 틈새에 끼어 있는 비닐, 마스크, 휴지 등은 2~3달이 지나도 그대로 버려져 있었다. 오늘 이렇게 #방치되어 있던 비닐, 마스크, 휴지 등을 줍고 나니 내 #마음이 너무나 #즐거웠다. 내가 휴지 줍고 지나간 #캠퍼스 일주도로가 더욱 푸르고 깨끗 해졌다. 오늘 이후부터 매주 일요일에는 휴지 줍는 봉사활동을 계속해가겠다. 내가 근무하는 #직장이고 내가 가르치는 #학생들이 이용하는 캠퍼스이니 당연한 봉사활동이다. 앞으로 더욱더 #즐거운 마음으로 봉사활동을 해야 하겠다.

28. Volunteering and Responsible Stewardship

 

When I walked along the circular road occasionally without expecting any reward, discarded Vinyl, masks, and waste were an annoyance. There were so many sweepers and cleaners in each campus area, so I thought it would be cleaned next time, but Vinyl, masks, and waste stuck in the trees were abandoned even after 2-3 months. After picking up Vinyl, masks, and waste, my heart becomes so happy. The road around the campus where I picked up rubbish became greener and cleaner. From today onward, I will continue volunteering to pick up trash every Sunday. This work is an example of responsible stewardship because it is the workplace where I work and the campus used by the students I teach. Therefore, I will do volunteer work with a more joyful heart in the coming days.
